OUR STORY

We first met on the dating app Hinge, where Kyle was relentless in trying to take Megan on a date. After about a month, Megan finally agreed and took Kyle to her neighborhood bar, Craggy Bogland's — close to home, just in case she didn’t like him. But after sitting in that bar for four hours talking, we both knew there was something special between us. Fast forward six months, and Kyle and his dog, Millie, were packing their bags to move in with Megan and her dog, Tater Tot. Over time, our little family grew closer and closer, and our love grew stronger than ever. In the years leading up to the proposal, Megan and Kyle spent their time traveling, playing volleyball and softball, throwing memorable parties, renovating their basement into a speakeasy bar, slow dancing in the kitchen to some of their favorite songs, and simply embracing life together to the fullest. On June 21, 2025, Kyle took Megan out for a special date day that included a limousine ride, visits to some of their favorite brunch spots, and a stop at the bar where their relationship first began. From there, they headed to Squire's Castle, where Kyle proposed with the help of both of their families. Afterward, everyone gathered at Megan’s parents’ house to celebrate the engagement with family and friends. Megan likes to say she knew a proposal was coming that day, while Kyle prefers to believe it was the surprise of a lifetime. Now, as we look ahead to September 11, 2026, we are filled with excitement and gratitude. What started with a single “yes” has turned into a beautiful life we get to share and a love that continues to grow every day. We cannot wait to celebrate this next chapter with all of you — the people who mean so much to us — as we begin forever together.

Our wedding is formal with a fresh, summertime floral vibe—please dress to impress!For the ladies: floor-length gowns or elegant cocktail dresses in bright colors or floral prints are encouraged; feel free to embrace lace, ruffles, sequins, or feathered accents!For the gents: a suit and tie in lighter or colorful tones is preferred—greens, beiges, peaches, or subtle patterns and floral ties fit the theme nicely. Classic black or navy suits are also perfectly acceptable!
